Hope all my readers have a wonderful day no matter where you are! Ben and I weren’t able to visit family this Thanksgiving, so we’ll be spending it just the two of us. This year I’m thankful for many things… my family… they’ve been so helpful and supportive many times this year. My Ben jam… sweet thing stayed up ALL night working on a holiday card for me to send out… tho I do hope he wakes up soon:) My business and all the wonderful clients I’ve had the opportunity to work with this year… I’m so very lucky to be able to do what I enjoy most… it’s just amazing!

Good food… today we’re having fresh cut arugula pasta from Pasta & Provisions and their Pomodoro sauce, along with Quorn “fake” chicken cordon bleu, and loads of traditional southern Thanksgiving veggies. Yummy. Oh and cornbread pudding!

Justin & Mary Marantz are coming to Charlotte in January for their Spread the Love Workshop and on Black Friday, seats will only be $50!! After Friday, seats will be $150, so make yourself a reminder to do a little quick shopping online before heading out to shop and wait in hour long lines.

From today through December 7th, for every person that leaves a meaningful comment anywhere on my blog, I will donate one canned food item to a local food bank for the holidays.

A story of the internet, kids, and innocence…

My friend’s young daughter called her over to the computer and said look mommy… she then typed in “Santa Claus isn’t real” into google search. Well, we all know what she found from there, and she showed her mom all about it. How would you even go about blocking a search like this, lol?!
